If you are in crisis or thinking of harming yourself in any way, please contact one of the following resources or reach out to a trusted family member or friend. If someone you know is in crisis, encourage them to contact one of the following resources. Many of the following resources also offer support and advice for how to help someone else in crisis.

  • National Suicide & Crisis Lifeline

    • The 988 Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones, and best practices for professionals in the United States.

  • Crisis Text Line

    • Text HOME to 741741

    • A live, trained volunteer Crisis Counselor receives the text and responds, all from a secure online platform 

  • The Trevor Project Support Line

    • The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) young people ages 13-24.
